Jukan describes how researchers identified a hacker behind a cyberattack on South Korean banks after he left directory listing enabled on his server and exposed Claude Code session files. A quoted post cites a CrowdStrike report saying one person may have carried out the attack using several AI tools.
This hacker is truly legendary. A complete amateur.
1. He left directory listing enabled on his own server, so researchers could figure out who he was with barely any effort. 2. They found files like CLAUDE.md and went through his Claude Code sessions. 3. There were questions like, “Where can I sell this data?” 4. He’d also asked, “Can you write my résumé?” That pretty much handed them all his personal information. 5. Apparently, he’s a student at South China University of Technology living in Guangdong. His name, phone number, and where he lives have all been identified.
Last week some of South Korea's biggest banks were hit by a cyberattack. Thanks to a report from CrowdStrike tonight, we now know the entire hack may have been done by a single person. He used a combined stack of an open-source AI penetration tool named ARTEX, DeepSeek v4.1-Flash, GLM-5.3, Grok 4.6, and Claude Code.
Levelsio says a test URL posted as a deeply buried reply drew thousands of crawlers within eight seconds, including a military intelligence firm and a social media monitoring company. He concludes that automated systems monitor X for new links.
I discovered that 1000s of bots are actively monitoring X for new links posted, probably not just on my account
I noticed when everytime I'd share one of my sites new features or pages, the page would get a bit slower just after posting, then I asked Claude to analyze it
I tweeted a test URL as a reply somewhere deeply hidden in a thread (so not even a main post)
And within 8 seconds there's thousands of crawlers opening the page!
One is a military intelligence firm, that scans social media for breaking news and sells alerts to newsrooms, banks, companies and government, it specifically follows accounts with many followers
Another one is a social media monitoring company that tracks what people say online
I knew of course high frequency trading firms use online news to trade fast on things, but interesting to see it in real life
Twitterbot (X) of course is first, within 0 seconds of sharing, it opens it (probably when I wrote the tweet)
The first non-X bot arrives just 8.40s later, which I think is pretty fast considering it's a reply by me deeply hidden in a thread somewhere

Savip says a six-bot Grok trading desk named Megabrain (Jev) turned $1,000 into $86,695 over nine nights by buying a crypto token called Effective Accelerationism during panic sells. The post promotes a paid-looking setup guide and includes trade logs, though the returns are unverified.
I CAN'T BELIEVE I SLEPT WHILE JEV + MY GROK BOTS TURNED $1,000 INTO $86,695 BY BUYING THE F*CKING BOTTOM OFF PANIC SELLERS
last night Jev picked a coin called Effective Accelerationism out of 74, named after the AI go-faster crowd
it opened at $11.12M in total value and bled for 19 hours
by 21:45 it was at $5.11M, if you bought at the open and held, you were down 54%
that's the exact minute my bots bought
the video is the desk live, it checks 5 coins a second and the six bots talk while they trade:
risk: the 18:30 wick was a trap, we paid 659
scan: the coin bled to 5.11M, we bought it
fills: the limit sell sits above 14M
five of the eight trades, priced by what the whole coin was worth at that minute:
→ 02:35 in at $10.88M, out at $13.62M, +$1,766.29 → 15:10 in at $7.15M, out at $9.16M, +$2,356.81 → 18:30 in at $8.20M, sold at $7.26M, -$658.78 → 21:45 in at $5.11M, out at $6.40M, +$2,159.28 → 01:55 in at $5.98M, out at $14.47M, +$3,808.90
that last one made the night, my bots bought it off people giving up at 1:55am and sold it to people chasing at 5:05am
i slept through both, i found out over coffee
a year ago i would have been one of those sellers at 21:45
$1,000 → $86,695.51 in nine nights, +$13,224.74 of it last night
